Below are the five phases of my free program for the Spanish language.
I developed my method while teaching myself Spanish because I was so
frustrated that many books didn't focus on the words I found I needed
when I tried to have an actual conversation in the language.
My Ph.D. was in Semitic studies, and my undergraduate was in Latin
and Greek. After 911, I worked for four years as an Arabic linguist at
the National Security Agency, before becoming a Latin teacher.
Each phase of the method includes phrases and important vocabulary of
increasing difficulty. MP3 files with an expert speaker pronouncing the
Spanish are also included below.
The words and phrases are presented with English followed by Spanish
in italics:
